Pete is a Managing Director and Head of the Cash and Structured Credit Research team at State Street Global Advisors and is a member of the firm's Senior Leadership Team. He leads a team of credit analysts who provide global research coverage of the investment-grade corporate, asset-backed markets, financial institutions including banks, broker/dealers, finance companies for short-duration/enhanced cash, securities lending reinvestment and traditional cash portfolios. In addition, the team is responsible for supporting the broader SSGA FICC department with regard to research relating to structured credit investment strategies.
Previously, Pete worked as a Senior Analyst on SSGA's Cash Credit Research team and was responsible for the credit analysis for banks/financial institutions, asset-backed securities (ABS) and corporate/industrial unsecured credit. Prior to that he was a member of the Structured Products group at State Street Global Markets and was responsible for structuring and surveillance of ABS. Pete began his professional career as a Financial Analyst in the Investment Banking group at Adams, Harkness and Hill where he was responsible for executing corporate finance transactions including public equity offerings, private placements of equity securities and mergers and acquisitions.
Pete earned a BA in Economics and Political Science from Williams College in 1999 and a MBA from Boston College Carroll School of Management in 2008.
