Rupert Cadbury is a Vice President and a senior member of the Sustainable Investing Strategy team at State Street Global Advisors, where he collaborates with investment teams and clients to help inform, develop, and implement sustainable investing solutions. He plays a key role working with institutional clients, advisors and consultants on fixed income and equity sustainability investment strategies, providing research, and portfolio implementation investment insight.
Rupert is a key partner with teams across Sustainability Data & Research, Product Development, Quant Investment Research, and various investment divisions within equity and fixed income to design sustainable investing solutions for advisors, consultants and institutional clients that align with their objectives.
Prior to joining the Sustainable Investing Strategist team, Rupert was part of the Fixed Income Portfolio Strategist team from 2013 to 2023. In this role, he led the positioning and development of the firm's Fixed Income, Cash and Currency management capabilities. In this role he was also the global lead strategist for Sustainable Investing in Fixed Income indexed, enhanced, smart beta and active investment solutions. Rupert joined State Street Global Advisors in 2013 as a Fixed Income Portfolio Specialist, moving from Fortis Investments/BNP Paribas Investment Partners where he worked in both Fixed Income and Equity investments teams with placements in London, New York and Mumbai. Rupert holds a BA in Economics & Geography from the University of Leeds, the Investment Management Certificate (IMC), and the CFA Certificate in ESG Investing.
