Michele Anne Barlow

Michele is a Managing Director of State Street Global Advisors and Head of Strategy and Research for Asia Pacific. She is responsible for engaging with clients as an investment leader. She and her team conduct research on the latest trends in asset allocation, making recommendations about potential enhancements, and customized research and analysis for clients. Targeted solutions include tactical multi-asset allocation, tail risk and exposure management.

Previously Michele worked at Bank of America-Merrill Lynch as Head of Credit Research in Asia-Pacific where she was both a financial analyst and credit strategist. She consistently maintained a top three ranking in Institutional Investor's All-Asia research team (credit strategy) poll and regularly ranked in the top ten best individuals in Asian G3 fixed income in The Asset Magazine poll in Asia. Prior to this she worked at Morgan Stanley in Ratings Advisory and Bankers Trust in Asia Finance Syndicate and Private Equity Finance. She has worked in Asia for over 20 years.

Michele holds an MBA and BSc (Agr) from the University of British Columbia, Canada.
