Karen is a Senior Vice President of State Street Global Advisors (SSGA) and Chief Administrative Officer. In this capacity, Karen plays a critical role in the realization of SSGA’s strategy and achieving its desired effectiveness, cultural attributes, and talent objectives. She serves as a central liaison across the global organization, providing leadership and management support for critical initiatives. In addition, she is a member of the company's Executive Management Group.

Prior to joining State Street Global Advisors, Karen was the Chief Administrative Officer at New York Life Investment Management (NYLIM). In this role she was responsible for the ESG Strategy in North America, Global Talent & Development, and the Office of the CEO. With over 17 years with New York Life, Karen served in a variety of roles including, but not limited to: Head of International Business Development at NYLIM, Chief of Staff to the Chief HR Officer at New York Life Insurance Company, and Head of Change Management for Technology and Finance Transformations at New York Life Insurance Company.

Karen received a Master’s of Business Administration from Bentley University and her Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Babson College.
